Jolie, Zeta-Jones may play Elizabeth Taylor

Hollywood actresses Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones are reportedly being considered for playing Elizabeth Taylor in a new biopic. According to industry sources, Russell Crowe, Clive Owen and Colin Farrell have been lined up to play Taylor's husband Richard Burton, Oscar-winning American director Mike Nichols reportedly wants to make the film, based on the book Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century. 
Writers Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger were given unprecedented access to a series of love letters written by Burton to Taylor during the course of their two marriages.
They were also given an unpublished first draft of Taylor's 1965 autobiography as well as a portfolio of the screen siren's favourite personal photographs, which are reproduced in the book.
And if reports are to be believed, both Jolie, 35, and Zeta Jones, 40, had expressed an interest in playing Taylor

Kardashian sisters $50,000 in merchandise a day

The Kardashian sisters are no strangers to success and ever since opening their new “Dash” store in New York, the sisters have been rolling in the dough.

According to a source who has the financials to the store, they claim the store has been moving “$50,000 in merchandise a day since it opened on November 3,” reports TMZ. In addition, they add that on Black Friday, they rolled in more than $100,000.

Mila Kunis stars in the upcoming movie “Black Swan” opposite Natalie Portman, and she opened up about the filming of it in the new issue of Nylon magazine in which she graces the cover.

She told the magazine, “It was the most intense training I’ve ever had in my life, and probably will have for anything. I lost 20 pounds, so I went down to 95 pounds. I weigh 117 usually, like today. I looked like Gollum [from "The Lord of the Rings"].”

In addition, she adds that in regards to her career, it “has been built on low expectations, and when you surpass those low expectations, you’re a winner.”

Madonna opens first “Hard Candy” gym in Mexico City

Madonna is looking to help others get into the same shape that she’s in, as she has just opened up her first mega-gym in Mexico City.

The gym has the same equipment as any other high class gym, but features a huge mural of the singer at the entrance. According to the Associated Press, Madonna chose to name the gym “Hard Candy” because “It’s a sexy name that gives you the opportunity to have fun and to build strength as far as the imagination will allow.”

Madonna plans to develop the gym there and then move it to the States.

Leonardo DiCaprio is “Hollywood Hero of the Week”

Despite a small delay due to plane trouble, Leonardo DiCaprio was able to make it to Russia to help out with a good cause. DiCaprio donated $1 million to the World Wildlife Fund that will aid urgent tiger conservation efforts. The summit was hosted by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Emma Watson Not Interested in Releasing Own Perfume

Emma Watson has no interest in releasing her own perfume. The "Harry Potter" actress says she doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of other celebrities by having her own scent as she can't see the attraction in it. She said, "I can't understand this fragrance thing. Why would you want to smell like somebody else? Don't you want to smell like yourself?" 

While she has no desire to have her own perfume, the 20-year-old beauty, who has appeared in series of campaigns for British fashion house Burberry, recently launched a fair-trade clothing collection for People Tree and says it's something she wants to do more of. She said, "I love it, and I will continue to work in the fashion industry. I am interested in ethical fashion, I want to make a difference and it's nice to contribute." 

Emma has previously revealed her fashion range was inspired by her summer wardrobe. She said, "I went through my summer wardrobe and thought, 'If I filtered this so that it was just the very basics, what would I want to keep?' The answer was cotton vests, easy T-shirt dresses, nice scarves to accessories with and some lovely linen pieces." 

"For the boys' range I've done hoodies, which I know they'll love. The clothes are very British, which is why we shot the campaign in an English country garden - it's all very strawberries and cream and tennis."

Justin Bieber opened up to Ryan Seacrest about his true feelings regarding various female celebrities.

Bieber stopped by Ryan's morning radio show on KIIS FM to discuss his album, tour and his love for the ladies. It's no secret that Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian have faux "crushes" on the 16-year-old pop star and when asked by Ryan which curvy star he thought was "hotter," Justin wasn't shy about sharing his true feelings.

"Kim," said Justin. Well, that settles things!

Kim and Justin have been toying with the press (and rabid Beliebers) with their fauxmance. The two stars even had a sexy photo shoot together for Elle magazine.

For her part, Katy has flirted with Justin over Twitter and claimed that he was her "adopted son" after meeting him at the 2010 Kid's Choice Awards in March.

Kim isn't the only gal who Justin has a crush on – the "Baby" singer that he prefers Rihanna to Megan Fox and says that both Selena Gomez and his sometime-kissing partner Jasmine Villegas are "beautiful."

Nominees of the 37th Annual People's Choice Awards have just been announced, and Disney darling Selena Gomez has a reason to celebrate. The TV actress, who has released her second studio album with band The Scene in September, landed her first nomination at the annual awards and is vying for Favorite Breakout Artist.

The 18-year-old is up against pop sensation Justin Bieber with whom she was linked romantically recently as well as other rising stars in music, B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Ke$ha. Upon learning about her nomination, she tweeted, "Oh my gosh!!!! I am so excited you guys nominated me and The Scene for this years People's Choice Award..."

While Selena landed her first nomination at the annual awards, Katy Perry grabbed four nods for her music. She is vying for Favorite Song, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Pop Artist. The "California Gurls" singer added her nod collection with Favorite Web Celeb from the online category. 


People's Choice Awards recognizes the people and the work of popular culture, including film and television. The winners will be determined through online votes at People's Choice official site, which will open until December 7. The 37th annual ceremony is to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on January 5, 2011 and will be aired on CBS.

The actress is rumored to be against Thanksgiving because of the history, states Pop Eater. Jolie is reportedly bothered by the history involving the white settlers and Native Americans, so she wants no part in a celebration.

However, Brad Pitt has mentioned already that the family will be whipping up a turkey somewhere depending on where they spend the holiday. Sounds like he’ll be doing the cooking.

Teen star Miley Cyrus has gone public with her latest love interest Avan Jogia, a Canadian actor of Indian origin.

The 'Hannah Montana' star introduced the actor to her family during her 18th birthday bash recently, reported People online.

Jogia has starred in a series of Nickelodeon shows and is now making the move onto the big screen.

The 'Party in the USA' hitmaker's amorous behaviour with Jogia, 18, however has raised a few eyebrows.

In a photograph snapped during the party Cyrus was caught sprawled over the bar of Hollywood club Trousdale at 2am, with her new boyfriend kissing her.

The teenager was wearing a pair of skin-tight black leather trousers, black high heeled boots and a cropped black leather bra top, quite a far leap from her 'Hannah Montana' days.

Cyrus and Jogia were first linked together in October when they were spotted heading out to lunch together and later attending a Halloween party.

As a special guest of Donovan Leitch (son of legendary musician Donovan) at his Camp Freddy gig, Mallika met and hobnobbed with Ace Frehely of the band KISS, Duff McKagan of GUNS n ROSES, Dave Navarro of JANES ADDICTION, Billy Duffy of THE CULT and Ozzy Ozbourne. 

Accompanied by her Los Angeles entourage, Mallika hung out backstage before the show, and then enjoyed her very first rock concert down front of the stage for the full experience. She "tweeted" throughout the night on her Twitter social networking account, saying to her followers "OMG! Ozzy's on right now! I have no eardrums left!" and that notorious rake of rock Dave Navarro was "very charming and a perfect gentlemen." 

When asked what she thought of the concert, she replied "She had great fun. Donovan was the perfect host. For my first rock concert, it couldn't have been better!"
